Let’s Dance Workshop
Led by the fantastic Angela Rippon, Let’s Dance is a movement of dance artists, organisations, charities, health professionals, community groups and celebrities getting together with just one objective – to get more people dancing. Below Angela explains her motivation;
“I’m the founder and an ambassador for Let’s Dance, the UK’s first national dance movement. This all started after my appearance on Strictly Coming Dancing, revisiting my roots in dance, where I had the chance to feel the benefits myself.
It's this that sparked my mission to get the nation dancing, in the hopes of bringing people together and helping more people access the health and social benefits of dance. So please join us! Let’s make 2025 the year of dance.”
Our special ‘Let’s Dance’ Move Dance Feel Workshop takes place on Sunday 2 March in Bristol. The event is designed to bring people together through the power of movement. The workshop is open to everyone – men, women, carers, dance enthusiasts, friends, neighbours, and colleagues.
Our dance artist facilitators are specialised in contemporary and community dance practice, and skilled in shaping comfortable and uplifting environments. The workshop will focus on creating joy, solidarity, and connection through dance, with no prior experience required.
Lunch will be available to buy in the Penny Brohn UK restaurant (advance booking required), where nutritious and delicious food will be on offer to fuel you for the day ahead.
