Retreat yourself in a ‘heaven on earth’ medieval chateau surrounded by rolling hills and sunshine.
This very special Move Dance Feel Retreat offers a whole-body, whole-hearted experience. Mornings begin with gentle, uplifting movement – including dance and yoga – while afternoons are yours to enjoy at your own pace: relax by the pool, find local walks, or join some extra nurturing sessions.
Expect delicious home-cooked food, wonderful female company, and plenty of space to rest, reflect and reconnect – all in the tranquil surroundings of Puissentut, a beautifully restored chateau in South-West France.
Additional connecting, restorative and artistic activities are gently woven through the week, offered on some afternoons and evenings, creating a rich and memorable experience.

The venue
Puissentut is a peaceful, lovingly restored medieval chateau in The Gers – a stunning rural region of South-West France (1 hour from Toulouse). Owners Angela and Dirk-Karel have been welcoming guests affected by cancer to retreat in their space since 2013. They bring warmth, expertise and joy to the experience, along with incredible food, cosy-yet-luxurious rooms, and thoughtful touches throughout.

What’s included?
7 nights’ accommodation in a beautiful twin or solo double room, all with ensuite.
Morning dance and yoga sessions (suitable for all levels).
Afternoons / evenings combining free time with other connecting, restorative and creative activities.
3 delicious, nourishing and vegetarian or vegan meals a day.
Use of the pool and peaceful grounds, including the herb garden for fresh tea.
Connection and conversation with a wonderful group of women.

Cost:
£995 for a shared twin bedroom with ensuite
£1495 for a solo double bedroom with ensuite
These prices include accommodation, food, drinks, activities, towels and linen.
Travel is not included. Group transfers from Toulouse Airport are available – we recommend arriving by lunchtime on 10 September and departing in the late afternoon / evening on 17 September. More guidance regarding travel arrangements will be emailed to you after signing up.

A variety of dietary requirements can be catered for – just let us know on your sign up form.
The meals provided are vegetarian or vegan, if you wish to add meat it’s a small extra cost per day (approx £8).
The week is paced gently, with plenty of flexibility built in.
Our activities are guided by highly experienced professional facilitators, with specialist knowledge about cancer care.
Our movement sessions are inclusive and designed to meet you where you are – there’s no pressure to perform.
You’ll be in a small group of women, which creates a warm and supportive atmosphere throughout.
The week might include a trip to the local market.
Massages are available at an extra cost.
The drinks included in the above price are non alcoholic, yet should you want an alcoholic drink wine or beer is available at the venue to buy in cash once on site.
